Malaysian Pressure On Burma Needs To Be Replicated By Others
Last week the Malaysian government spoke out clearly and forcefully for Rohingya rights in Burma. Prime Minister Najib Razak participated in mass demonstrations, summoned Myanmar’s ambassador last week over the harsh recent crackdown on Rohingya and even canceled the national soccer team’s friendly under-22 matches with Myanmar in protest.
