US Says ‘Deeply Troubled’ By Reports Of Myanmar Mass Graves

In her briefing, Lee described her visit to refugee camps in neighboring Bangladesh and various other areas, where almost 700,000 Rohingya have fled to escape the Myanmar military’s operations against them. 

UN Special Rapporteur Yanghee Lee held a news conference in Seoul after she made a brief visit to Bangladesh.

In a report published on December 12, 2017, the global humanitarian organization said the deaths of 71.7 percent or 6,700 Rohingya were caused by violence.
