General Azhumi Commends Malaysia And Indonesia For Supporting Rohingya, At Oslo Conference
Retired General Azhumi, former Chief of Malaysian Army, Former UN Peacekeeper and current Trustee of the Perdana Global Peace Foundation, spoke of the complacency of ASEAN and other organizations who fail to lend a hand to the Rohingya and/or make an effort to call the Myanmar government out for committing atrocities against the Burmese minorities.
He also praised the Malaysian and Indonesian governments for their unfaltering support in the wake of the genocide.
“It’s a display of ‘meta karuna’ (Sanskrit saying meaning kindness and compassion),” said General Azhumi, in reference to the acts of the two countries.
