Congressional Members Urge Secretary Of State Kerry To Action

Members of the United States Congress have sent a letter to Secretary of State John Kerry urging him to take action to ensure that those Rohingya stranded at sea “are brought to safety, including through search and rescue missions, and provided medical and other care without delay.” These members of Congress insisted that “more must be done” to alleviate the humanitarian crisis suffered by Rohingya Muslims, and noted the “early warning signs of a Rohingya genocide are in place.”  Photo: Kevin McCoy
