Burma Task Force deplores today's murder of Rohingya leader Mohibullah and urges the Bangladeshi authorities to conduct a credible investigation into these tragic events. Ramadan has past. It was an especially hard one for many of our Rohingya brothers and sisters, who are suffering in camps with little food and water. They’ve been hit by cyclones and als continue to face the persecution of Burmese military and government authorities.
Yet, this does not stop them from enjoying this day as well. “With hardship comes ease.” And we pray this day, there is more ease than hardship as our brothers and sisters celebrate Eid all over the world.
