Rohingya Given Two Bleak Choices: Reclassification Or Jail

Most of Myanmar’s 1.1 million Rohingyas already live in apartheid-like conditions in western Rakhine, where deadly clashes with ethnic Rakhine Buddhists in 2012 displaced 140,000 people, mostly Rohingyas. Now they are offering them a bleak choice: accept reclassification and prospect citizenship or be detained.
