Argentina court to investigate Myanmar war crimes against Rohingya Muslims

As we approach International Genocide Prevention Day (December 9) this latest court ruling offers the suffering Rohingya people of Burma new hope for justice. Having suffered from severe human rights abuses in past generations, Argentina has embraced the principle of universal jurisdiction to hold war criminals accountable anywhere around the world.

We commend Rohingya leader Tun Khin and his lawyers for their dedication to this sacred cause.
